Alva Cederholm (b. 2001 in Helsingborg) lives and works in Skåne, Sweden.

Cederholms practice is an ongoing investigation into the friction and difficulties between human systems of control and the forces of the so called natural world. She works across installation, sculptural, performance, sound, painting and photography. Cederholm tries to situate her work from an eco centric world view rather than an anthropocentric one. Therefore avoiding the view of “nature” as a romanticised landscape or as some kind of external beauty to be observed by us human-animals. Cederholm wants her work to have a different approach, one that sees it as a visceral force, a force that we are fundamentally beneath and in no control of.
